Donations To Society Projects

The Society's income comes from a number of sources and donations are an important source of funds for restoration and maintenance projects. Examples of some of the current projects are listed further down this page.

Over the years, many grants have been provided to Puffing Billy Railway's operator for maintenance and restoration projects, as well as for railway staff to undertake work on Society locomotives and rolling stock. The total of grants since 1978 is over five million dollars. Funds continue to be raised for projects that will maintain and enhance the heritage of the railway.

Donations to the Puffing Billy Preservation Society are tax deductible. A receipt for tax purposes will be provided. The process below can be used to pay using a credit or debit card. If you wish to donate through a bank transfer, cheque or other means, please contact the secretary on 03 9757 0767
